Once a Popular Local Gastropub Chain, Bobcat Bonnie's Closing Last Metro Detroit Location

The once-popular local gastropub Bobcat Bonnie's is shuttering its last Metro Detroit location.

On Facebook, the ownership announced that Monday will be the last day of operations in Ferndale, at 240 W. 9 Mile Road.

The restaurant still has a location in Lansing. The original spot in Corktown closed in March, and the one in Wyandotte shut down in January.

"Coming to you with some bittersweet news—but after tomorrow (Monday), Bobcat Bonnie's Ferndale will be closed," the Facebook post read. "I'll keep this short and sweet—we have LOVED being a part of this community. And we are so excited to have another AMAZING operator taking over the space (in due time)!"

"As for our staff—we have informed them and are ensuring every single one is taken care of. We have a lot of organizing, cleaning, etc., to do! To our friends—THANK YOU for seven years of what I can only describe as a dream. I am so lucky and so blessed to have been a part of such a great community. After Corktown wink—Ferndale is one of the best neighborhoods in the Detroit area. We are so lucky to have been a part of it."
