Mike Rogers and Haley Stevens
A WDIV–Detroit News poll shows Democratic Congresswoman Haley Stevens and Republican Mike Rogers essentially tied in the race for U.S. Senate this year in a hypothetical head-to-head matchup.
The survey of 600 likely Michigan voters, conducted Jan. 2–6, found 44.1 percent favored Rogers and 43.7 percent supported Stevens, the Detroit News writes. The poll’s margin of error is plus or minus 4 percentage points. Twelve percent were undecided.
The poll also showed Rogers leading Democrat Abdul El-Sayed, 48–41.6 percent, and ahead of state Sen. Mallory McMorrow, 45.7–42.4 percent.
